About the author: Norman Lewis, a well-known grammarian, lexicographer, author and etymologist was born in Brooklyn, in the year 1912. His books are used as reference when people want to clear their doubts about usage of the English language. The book Word Power Made Easy is one of his best known works. The first edition of this book was released in 1949. Norman Lewis passed away in 2006.
